IndianOrder placed on 8.15.08.I ordered from Kabab Corner once before and was actually ok with it. Food didn't blow me away, but satisfied my craving for Indian food quite nicely. Last night, however, I was thoroughly disappointed. First of all, my order didn't come for a full half hour after the estimated time (which was already a generous 1 hour after placing the order). I ordered chicken vindaloo, and what I got was neither chicken nor vindaloo. My best guess is that it was lamb, but needless to say I didn't eat much of it. The curry was oily and simply too heavy, and there was a whopping 1 piece of potato in the whole mess. The naans were undercooked and yet still very oily (which seemed to make it clear that a real tandoor, they do not have). An order of samosas followed suit- incredibly oily, but low on taste. I thought that I had found decent Indian food close to home, but guess I have to keep looking.

Sandwiches, Pasta, Healthy, SaladsOrder placed on 12.16.08.Very good food (I love that the have a whole wheat pasta option) and the food came on time, even though they only had one delivery person. I probably won't order again from them, though. I'm a vegan, so it's important to me that they get the special instructions right. This is what I requested: "I'm vegan, so please no animal products (dairy, egg, etc.)." My pasta came with cheese. I called them up and complained. They said that all pasta comes with cheese and that I needed to specify that. I said that I did. They replied that I said "no dairy" but didn't mention cheese. In short, this place has good food so you'll probably be happy with it, unless you have special instructions. They don't pay too much attention to the special instructions (I requested no plasticware, and it came with plasticware.)

Asian, Thai, NoodlesWe have been going to Tom Yum Koong for over 2 years, at least once a month. Although it is true that we have occassionally had incorrect orders or the rare not-so-great dish (as noted in other reviews), the food is consistently very good and I recommend them highly. Tom the owner is great. He tells me his family actually owned a restaurant in Thailand for years before moving to the U.S.A. If you like slightly sweet Thai dishes with a little heat, try the Crispy Chicken Basil. Vegetarians should try the Vegitarian Pad See You with tofu. The Tom Yum Koong soup is very authentic. They recently expanded to include a nice area with tables (formerly take-out/delivery only). If you pick-up/eat-in, the best place to park is diagonally across the street near the Post Office.

Pizza, Sandwiches, American, Subs, Deli, WrapsThis is THE best sub shop on Broadway. I order here 2-3 times a week for lunch. Their turkey is soo good. Nice clean appearance, and relatively friendly staff. They frequently give me a deal for really no apparent reason other than perhaps my loyalty. I would give a 5-star, but they don't take credit cards.
